Start new job Monday

Hi everyone! I am starting a new job Monday. My last day at my old job was yesterday...I am very sad, yet know this is a opportunity for me. I am a RN who loves working with people. I am taking this Forensic course and hopefully want to be a nurse investigator. I took this new job to do that. Yes, more money, better benefits, yet mixed emotions. Not always about the money either, but I hope that I made the right decision. I am woman who is changing since after this surgery. My god, I even cut my hair wayyyyyy short now!!! What I'm I thinking? Changes all over the place!! Has this happened to anyone else? Andrea

Your new line of work sounds so cool. I use to watch Quincy MD in the 70's (did I just give out how old I am?) I wanted to do work like that or as a paramedic. Paramedic went out the door when I found out that all of them in my county had to be firemen first, I have asthma, could never be one. I did go to school for a EMT1 though, never worked in the field though. How exciting, a new career, a new haircut, a new you and hopefully happy you. I have cut my hair some, might be cutting it more. I do more things now, take time for my nails too. So yes, I have done what you are doing, to a point anyway.
