Kinda OT: Where do you shop?

I used to mostly shop at lane bryant and the avenue. We got a new store that sells pluss size and regular. I of course work there now... ( gotta love 25% off when the shirts are only 10-13 to start with) Anyhoo I shop at dots a lot now. But where do yall shop, and are you in regular sizes yet or still on the pluss side? Elsa

I went to old navy the other day and fell in love with their clothes... had some capris that were sooo cute. I only bought a $5 tank though. They looked like they ran tight so I bought an xl. could have got a l or m in the t though. Im digging the weight loss. its more fun to shop. I still get nurvouse like what if the 14 dont fit, i wouldnt mind a 16 but god forbid I need an 18, I still get scared so I dont try anything on, lol. Im a dork I know. Elsa

I currently wear an 18- so I am still in plus size. I mainly just shop department stores; Macys, JCPennys, etc... I only buy if it is on sale. I also have been going to TJ Maxx. I hate buying clothes because I know that I will only have them a few months! I havent been dropping sizes very fast. I started as a tight 26, so I held onto that size and had a lot of 24s from the past, so I just started buying new stuff.

Hi guys, I love to shop at Lerners/New York and Co. They have really cute stuff and they have larger sizes I know for sure they go up to 16 but I think they might have 18's too. There sizes at Lerners run big so where I'm a 10 or 12 at some stores I would be an 8 there. I also shop at Old Navy, mostly for tops, but I did buy two pairs of capri's the other day. And I shopped at Costco the other day, bought a jean skirt *mini* a pair of shorts and a dress. Weird that everything fit, they have no dressing rooms so I was guessing on the sizes. I buy all my Levi's at Sears but I have noticed that Mervyns carries the same styles at a better prices sometimes. I'm a shop a holic and pretty much ***** out to any store that has a sale!!! Dana

Too funny. I only bought one pair of pants since surgery. I just leep wearing the same ol jeans a few days a week. the other days its my old clothes that I have to hold up. Too funny. Im just too cheap to buy clothes unless I have to. I have bought 3 or 4 tops though. but only if they are like 3 or 4 dollers each. Im a cheappy. Elsa

Hey Elsa, I'm a planner and one of the things that I planned for was having to get clothes for work, I started saving money in what I called my thin fund. I got away with wearing jeans for a while at work but I needed a better work wardrobe, so I started a thin fund. That is the only way I could survive. Dana
