is an e-mail list for Vegas info possible?

I am FOREVER missing information about the Vegas get-together. I am out in left field I suppose It would help if I checked in more often than I currently do! Is it possible to have an e-mail list set up so the info could be sent to the people on the list? If not, I'll keep skimming the posts and see if I can find out anything. My family is going on vacation late November so money will be tight but I would LOVE to be able to go to Vegas and meet all of you wonderful people!!!!! My DH and myself have not had a vacation "without kids" since our honeymoon so we are thinking if we can swing it, getting someone to watch the kids and making this a weekend trip for just the two of us! Meeting all of you AND having a mini-vacation with DH would be the cat's meow! Besides, I have never been to Vegas either so this might just put me over the edge lol Give me your thoughts.

I don't think there is an email list..but here is the latest update on the trip. Hi everyone, As promised I am posting with an update for the Surgiversary. Both January weekends are quite busy in Las Vegas, its convention season. The best deal has come from the Westin. Here's the offer: Guest rooms - the westin heavenly bed/shower - $169 for the weekend of the 26th, $159 for the weekend of the 19th. (the 26th was previously strongly preferred by the group). Spa - they will give us 20% of spa services. There's a ginger mud wrap that sounds so amazing..... Location - its 2 blocks off the strip. If you look at their site, the first pic is the entrance, that blue building is Bally's. However, the elevators are right as you go in so its not 2 blocks (or miles!) to your guest room once you enter the hotel. There are only 800 rooms so they have the ability to keep our guest rooms close to each other. There is a small casino but it was not created as a gambling hotel. They will not charge us meeting room rental for the Friday night reception. (a $800 savings) If you go to any travel dot com site you'll see that rates are running over $200, this hotel is selling at $229. They will sell us breakfast coupons in advance for $16.55 which is a $5 savings. Sorry..this is the latest. Thanks for weighing in with your thoughts on the hotel proposal. I have asked for a contract and will lock it down this week. I had to pop across the pond and am back in London; it will be next Monday (12th) when I can sign the contract and will post information on how to make reservations. Mark your calendars and start pairing up if you want to share a room with someone. In summary: Westin Casutarian Las Vegas 26-28 January 2007 $169 per room per night, plus tax 20% discount to the spa Advance purchase of breakfast coupons for $16.55 each Note that we may have to consider a $50-$75 per person registration fee to cover food at the opening, a program (if we decide to do it), anything else. By no means is this firm, I am just putting the thought out there, just in case. If anyone has an idea or talent to share as we organize, give a shout! Just a question about the room rate. The first post says $169/ weekend. Later it says $169/night. (please say that it is for the whole weekend).

It's $169 per night. Unless of course you are sharing a room. Then it will cost you $169 for the weekend plus tax of course
