Ronna, I am glad you are ok!! Did you eat something with protein as your night time snack to help your BS stay level throughout the night? It is scary to have that happen. Those glucose tablets are only short acting which will in turn probably leave you low again, so try and add a 1/2 of a tuna, turkey or cheese sandwhich which will have protein to help level you off. Just drink 8 oz of skim milk if it is during night-time...I know people have a hard time eating in middle of night when they bottom out. Sorry I am going on and on. I am a Diabetic Nurse Educator, so I love to teach on diabetes. Anyways, I am glad you are ok. Take care!! Andrea

Oh, Ronna...I bet you were scared...I am so glad that you are feeling better and hopefully, (maybe) when you get to your goal you won't need the insulin any longer. Anyway, take care oh and Charleston, Il is about 45 min. south of Champaign. Thanks for asking.. Marsha

Ronna, I am so glad that you are alright and not unconscious now after having that happen!! I know the feeling although it hasnt happened to me in a very long time. I wish you all the best of luck with getting it under control and hope that it doesnt drop that low again any time soon or ever if we are lucky!! Steph
