Hey Y'all I hope you all are doing well. My life is so busy these days. I thought I would catch up and see how things are with you all. 1. What are you doing today? 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If so, have you noticed a difference? Did you need a seatbelt extender? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? 4. Any new life news? 1. This morning the kids and I went and bought a new washing machine. It is soooooo nice. It is a front loader, energy star compliant and uses 1/2 the water of a top loader. It was a boat load of money but I have had to buy a new machine every 5 years. My thinking is you get what you pay for. I paid mighty bucks so let's hope this one lasts. 2. Hard 3. We are traveling at the end of this month and I wonder if I will have to raise the old hand and ask for the seatbelt extender. (Actually, Wayne usually does it for me) 4. Yes, Nathanial has a 29 month old sister. She is coming to live with us on Tuesday. I will be the proud mama of 4 children under 3 yrs old. God Bless, Jen

Wow Jen! Alot has happened with you lately!!! 1. What are you doing today? *** Today is a weird day, I just don't feel like doing anything. I called into work at LB I know no one was happy with it, but ugh, I'm pooped. I hope I'm not getting burned out! Later today I have to go to the house I sit for and find out how to get the mail and last particulars for when she's gone to Laos for a month. then I have choir practice tonight with my grandma's choir- I accompany them on the flute and will have Tuba solo... I think I'll go to bed early lol. 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? *** hmmmm..... WHOA 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? *** I haven't been on a plane yet, I'm actually quite nervous for the first time. 4. Any new life news? *** Um... same ol' same ol'!

Hi Jen, You are a busy lady with 4 kids under 3! 1. What are you doing today? Had to go get my car back from the shop.. it was in getting fixed from hail damage. 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? Amazing..the transformation in such a short time is awesome. 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If so, have you noticed a difference? Yes, I traveled 1 month after surgery...I never had to have the seatbelt extender..I just lifted myself up a little sucked it in and shoved that belt on..then didn't breath for however many hours the trip was.... one month out i was able to put on the seatbelt without any problem even had extra to tighten it. I was about 217lbs a month out from surgery. 4. Any new life news? I'm going to be a grandma again for the 4th time.. Hoping for a boy this time!!

If so, have you noticed a difference? Did you need a seatbelt extender? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? I haven't been on an airplane since surgery, but will be flying in mid-August to my nephew's wedding. I've never had to have a seat belt extender, but will look forward to not worrying about if the seat belt will buckle this time! 4. Any new life news? 1. What are you doing today? Pretending to work! I went shopping for bra's a little while ago! 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? Great! 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If so, have you noticed a difference? Did you need a seatbelt extender? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? Last year I flew to Frisco in November and N.C.in June and didn't need an extender but the seats were uncomfortable. I was bout 225 then, I fly there again at the end of the month and I'm excited to see if it's much different. I'm hoping I can be a little more comfortable. 4. Any new life news? Ummm, i closed my refinance on my house and will be starting our remodeling in August. I'm gonna be making my kitchen bigger and adding a bedroom and bath. I'm pretty excited about it but the planning sucks!!! Thanks for asking, and bless you for taking in those babies, that is something that I would love to do but I don't have the time or money to foster right now, maybe in a few years when Jesse and I are more settled. Hi Jen!! 1. What are you doing today? *** ugh, WORK!! It's a nightmare anymore but hopefully I will move to a new department soon and get 2 weeks of training OFF THE PHONES!!! YEAH!!!! 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? *** BLESSING 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If so, have you noticed a difference? Did you need a seatbelt extender? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? *** I have travelled on a plane since WLS when I went to Vegas in the beginning of March. I did not need a seat belt extender and by that point I was down about 30-35 lbs... considering I am almost down 85 at this point, I can't wait for my next trip!!! 4. Any new life news? *** Drama, Drama, Drama.... Just call me the Drama Queen these days... I try to stay away, but it keeps following me!!!! I am in the final details for a trade fair that we're having tonite in London, about 100 travel agents are coming to talk with 35 exhibiting hoteliers/airlines/ground transport companies 2. What one word would you use to describe your WLS journey? TRANFORMATIONAL 3. Have you traveled on an aiplane since WLS? If so, have you noticed a difference? Did you need a seatbelt extender? If not what weight were you at when you traveled? I live on airplanes and have flown about 30,000 miles since I got back into traveling, post op...three European trips, LA, NYC, I am on the go all the time. I almost needed the extender pre-op, especially on those nasty MD80 airplanes. That was one of the thresholds I did not want to cross. 4. Any new life news? I feel increasingly powerful in all aspects of my life. My confidence is strong and doors continue to open. Life was great pre-op, now its moving into amazing
