how much on average is everyone eating at this point????

I'm a lurker from Feb 06 board and you don't know HOW MUCH your post comforted me! I FitDay around 1200 calories some days [less the past few days as I'm trying 'water load'] never as low as 400-800 [I wish!]. I don't dump [I haven't tried too much sugar stuff, a chocolate chip cookie here or there, but I can eat fried foods, beef, chicken full fat cheese - no problem]. I have only thrown up once early on from leftover fish and yesterday, after eating a piece of chicken too fast. I am just feeling well to implement organized exercise [this week I've done 30 min on the Gazelle 2x and will aim to do it tomorrow for a total of 3], but I have also been doing more activities with my toddler. On one hand, I'm happy I feel somewhat 'normal' knowing I can eat almost anything and feel satisfied on smaller portions, OTOH, I worry that I'm eating so much more than other folks report. I track myself on Fitday just to make sure I'm getting all my protein. I vary wildly -- between 700 and 1100 calories, depending on what I've eaten that day. I try to get in between 80 and 100 grams of protein, though, so when I supplement with shakes or bars to reach my protein goals, it naturally ups the caloric intake. Amount wise -- I eat somewhere around 1/2 at a time, depending on what it is. Some things a little more, some a little less.

I eat about 600-800 calories a day. Usually no more then 1/2 cup of food a meal- then I have about 2 snacks a day. I too can sometimes eat more, but then again sometimes I am full on like 2 bites, depending on the density of the food and how fast I eat.
