Small Wow

My boss just returned from a cruise and bought me a gift; a wonderful shell bracelet. My first thought was "I can't wait till I am able to wear this" since all my teenage-adult life I could never fit a normal bracelet around my wrist... I would have to buy anklets, right. Of course, she says "try it on" and I am dreading the embarrasment that will ensue when it is too small to clasp together... guess what? It fit, with room to spare. I could not believe it! I almost cried. Its funny how fast our body changes and it takes a while for our minds to catch up.

That is a WOW moment. Sometimes when I look down I'm surprised to see smaller wrists and fingers. It's funny--who would think of losing it there? Congratulations on your loss. That was really nice of your boss too. Kathy R

We don't even talk about smaller fingers at my house. I lost my wedding rings because I didn't realize how much I had lost in my fingers. Hubby was really good about it though. Hazel
