Self Confidence

I cant get over the self confidence I have gotten from this surgery. Yesterday I ran in to two girls I graduated high school with, one I never spoken to before. We ended up chit chatting at Starbucks for 40 minutes until they closed. After I walked out the door I thought to myself I should have gotten their email addresses or number to meet up with them again. The old me would have went home and thought about it for days and not done anything. The new me, I stopped them when they were driving away and asked. I have never asked someone first if they would like to hang out. All the friends I do have, had to make the move first. Are you all noticing more self confidence?

absolutley.. I walk now with my head held high and look people in the eye as they walk by.

Ohhh definately. I have always had an act of confidence... I walked with my head up, when talking to people I looked directly in their eyes, etc etc. Now, I have like a new confidence.... an inner confidence that projects desire and passion for the subject I'm speaking about. Its like I have a new life!!!! I was at the Starbuck's drive thru last night after class and one of my sister's classmates (2 yr younger than me) totally didn't recognize me until I gave her my Card to charge my latte!!! She couldn't get over how great I looked lol. Why thank you! I haven't gotten confident enough to ask for male contacts LOL!

I have a lot more self confidence also. I think it is really about feeling good about yourself, and this weight loss certainly does that. Rosemary
