Breakfast Menu: Need something new
Hey Kelli. I was getting sick of eggs too! Here's a couple of things I try:
yogurt w/ cheese stick and crackers
LF cottage cheese w/ fruit or SF preserves
Special K protein plus cereal...it's really good too!
iced coffee w/ protein....you can't even taste the protein in it!
RF corned beef hash is really good too
leftovers can always be good depending on what it is
Give some of these a try. Also, breakfast doesn't always to consist of breakfast foods...I think that's why we get tired of some things. Hope this helps!

Hi Kelli,
I know what you mean about a change!!! I usually eat a protein bar from pure protein or have an atkins avantage shake. Other times I just drink some water and wait for my real hunger to arrive to have something. I also eat at work for breakfast at times and then I usually have some yogurt with granola and fruit or I have some scrambled eggs with cheese and a slice of bacon or sausage. I dont know if this helps or not, but I hope it does.....oh yeah I forgot sometimes I like to have some deli meat with ff cream cheese spread real thin and roll it up.

I haven't thought of cereal to have for breakfast, I guess I thought it was a thing of the past but I would love to give it a try. I'll check out the Special K with extra protein or Kashi cereal. I think tomorrow I will take the leftover bbq chicken shred it up in my eggs...give some different flavor.

I don't eat eggs... or oatmeal... but i tend to eat the same things over and over again for each meal too
Here are some things I eat typically for breakfast:
Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control Yogurt (4oz, 5g protein)
Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control Smoothie (6oz, 6g protein)
Light/Low Fat String Cheese (1 oz, 9g protein)
Carb Countdown Chocolate Milk (8oz, 8g protein)
Low Fat Cottage Cheese (4 oz, 14g protein)
Fruit (not the best choice, but I pair it with something with protein often cheese)
Special K Protein Cereal (10g protein)
Quaker Q Smart Cranberry Almond Bar (10g protein)
As you can see, mostly lean dairy. Good luck with changing up the menu, I know how it is not having variety! I also read Kay's daily "whats on your menu" post to get new ideas!
Take Care,
Mary
