My Afternoon at PT
Well it went pretty well. Don't know if the treatments will work but we will see. I will be going 3 times a week till my insurance runs out (about 2 months worth).
2 years ago I went to this same place for treatment due to a bad case of Siatica. And had a great therepist. I was lucky that he's still there and he will be treating me again.
When I walked in he let out a yell and screamed, "What did you do?" "You look wonderful." It's the first time I've seen someone who hasn't seen me since surgery who knew me at my heaviest. What a great feeling
I was also able to go without my cane and he saw I could get up out of the chair without any problem ----- very different from the last time I was there.
So I have some exceresises to do at home and next week I will be there on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for the infared treatment.
They hook up the boot thingy with electrodes that bombard my legs and feet with infared light that is suppose to improve circulation that inturn improves ability to feel and balance. My therepist says that they have had about a 50% success rate with this new treatment.
Those aren't great odds for Vegas but when you have gone as long as I have with this problem I'll take those odds
