WOW for me
So I have a wow I would like to share with you all.
I sent my 5 month picture to one of my closest friends back home. I have not seen her since having surgey but have periodically been sending her pictures.
She replied in email saying that if she passed me on the street she may not have stopped to talk to me and that she almost cried when she first looked at the picure that she was so happy for me.
Well, then 4 more emails from her followed.
She showed the picture to her kids and asked who it was ( I have know her since before all of her kids were born - so these kids have know me their entire lives)
They went like this
Alex - mom I have no idea who that lady is, I do not know her. ... it's Jen ... he didn't say anything!
Scottie - I do not know who that is mom ... it's Jen ... no way!
Haley - I don't know that lady. ... I's Jen ... not ah, you are lying! She insisted that the picture was not me!
Hubby - had to look twice to know it was me ( he is also a WLS RNY'er)
That has been my best wow moment so far.

It is strange how some WoW'**** us....One would be offended if a good friend wouldn't recognize us at all in normal times.... and now we feel awesome due to the fact that we have change so much in a positive way that in fact we feel terrific when somebody pass along and don't say hello!!!!
