Monday Moments

I thought I would share a few things that have happened here at work today. Not sure they would qualify as Wow moments, but they made me feel good. To back up a little, I told the people in my department at work that I was having WLS and they have all been greatly supportive ... encouraging me, complimenting me on the weight loss, etc. I work in an office with approx. 50 people overall with only about 6 of them working in my dept. I have gotten a few notices and comments over the months about weight loss, but not too much. Then today, I get an email from a lady in the office and she said she just saw me walking down the hall and that I needed to change my name to "the incredible shrinking woman" and that I was looking so good. Then less than 15 minutes later, I go to another department to pick up some papers and a guy stops me (he is quite overweight) and tells he has noticed how much weight I have lost and that I look really good. Right now I'm feeling pretty good and more motivated to keep doing all the good things and stop doing the bad things. LOL Debbie

Thanks for all the good thoughts! I emailed Steve (hubby) about the comments. He jokingly replied that I was getting the big head now from all the compliments and wouldn't fit though the door. Then he said he was happy that I was getting the notice that I deserved ... sweet! So I just had to reply back to him ... my head might not fit through the door, but the rest of me will fit ... with room to spare! Debbie
