Pics for Daily Wow, and my own set of WOWS!

What a day for WOWS! We are all doing so extremely well, when I read them all I got all teary eyed.... I know it has its downs as well as ups, but I thank God everyday for this surgery and it entering my life. I have a new sense of self confidence, still working on it in the boy department lol, but everything else, I am proud to be me! Today at practice for the 4th of July program I actually wore a mens XL Mesh Short and the XXL athletic knit shirt from the Gap that I told you about a few months ago- yes, I wore it in public!!! The old ladies in the choir actually called me skinny! I have also rekindled my love for the Tuba. I never realized how much I loved playing it until today. I played it last week, but before that I hadn't played for like 2 years! Last week, I didn't sound too wonderful, but picked it up again and it was like back on a bike, my chops (lips and way of playing a brass instrument) came back to me like I never stopped playing! I was able to play this hard piece with intricate fingerings and tonguing and was just in awe. I got all teary then too. My musical mentor, as I call her, kept telling me how light and airy I played and how she has never heard the tuba sound so light. I don't know what I do differently, but I love the fast rhythms and details.... The tuba is sooo my instrument I'll get a pic for you soon, I haven't named it yet.... but I was playing around with the Tuba-nator lol!!!! I know, I'm a dork! I only have like 2 weeks until the program and am sooo excited!!!! Chris is gonna see if he can get off work to come too, how awesome is that!? I have my dress (which I wore at my 8th grade graduation), awesome shoes, and the jewels... I know I'll be a bit over dressed, but I don't care..... I am planning to take my 6 mos pics then too (the program is July 2... my 6 mos is July 6) and want them to be kinda glamorous. OH! I just remembered, I took Senior photos with my tuba, I'll have to find those and then post the two shots. That'll be coooool!!!!!!
