I'm Baaaackk from Paris
Hello My January friends,
Bonjour! I missed all of you and thought of you while I was gone for the past two weeks! Paris was absolutely amazing and I really loved Amsterdam. We stayed in Brussels for one evening. It was HOT over in Europe as they were having a heatwave. Good news, I lost 8-1/2 lbs. from all the walking and stairclimbing we did and probably from the sweating since it was so hot.
As a WOW moment, everyone has been telling me that I look like I've lost quite a bit of weight since I have returned from my trip. I can really feel it in my clothes and am completely out of size 1s and 2s. The flights were so comfortable as I didn't have to ask for a seatbelt extender and the tray fit over my tummy. The beds in Europe are alot smaller than the beds here but I felt comfortable enough in them. So many positive things have happened with this surgery as traveling wasn't something I was able to deal with before.
Anyways, just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Karen---- No nice words from me: I am flush with the green eyed monster! Call me super jealous...I love Paris! I love Belgium! WAAAAAA! Why can't I go to Europe?!? (Oh yes, now I recall, because I have a 2 year old and my abroad travels are over for the present time!
).
Ok--I'm done whining... I guess I am (begrudgingly) glad you had a good time. Tee-hee!
I am so-so over Amsterdam (the pot smell gets to me after a while when I'm there
)
BUT--- I always want to ride my bike everywhere after I come back from Holland and I love the Anne Frank Haus and the Van Gogh Museum!
Glad to hear all your fun news-- I bet the plane ride in general was much better--more comfortable, etc...
Lucky, lucky girl!
Cathy

You are too funny Cathy! I am so glad we didn't get the whiffs of pot smokers our way when we were in Amsterdam. I really loved the canals and canal houses. Enjoyed the Anne Frank House and the Rembrant House. Well maybe when your little one gets older you'll be able to travel to Europe. I went with my 17 year old son and we had alot of fun!
Thanks - Karen S
