WOW moment X2 (Xpost)

I dropped by my favorite hair salon to get a quick trim of the old straggly ends. I only get my hair trimmed a couple of times a year so I haven't been in since last November when we were getting hubby bleached for Santa. (we have his hair & beard bleached) Anyway, I walked in and they had several new people working there - the person I had used in the past is gone. I tell the receptionist that I just need a trim and she finds someone available for a walk-in. I'm sitting in the chair and the owner of the shop walks by and stops to say hi and notices my braces. He asks me if I had them the last time I was in and when I told him they were new he says "I knew there was something different about your face." Hello!!!!! How about more than 60 lbs gone since you last saw me! I then moved the cape to the side and said "Oh, and I've also lost over 60 lbs. I had GBS." He was speechless! He asked how I was doing and we talked a little about the surgery. He told me I looked great and then he got back to his client. On my way out he asked his client (a very regular customer) if she noticed anything different. I told him she probably didn't know who I was and he proceded to tell her I was Santa Claus' wife. Her jaw dropped and she says, "My goodness, you have lost a lot of weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She said she didn't have any idea who I was until he said I was Santa's wife. Oh, and I went to Lane Bryant to spend the gift card my daughter had gotten me for Christmas. I bought 14s and 16s from the clearance rack. I'm in my 18s now and this will give me some things to move into. I told the lady I came in to spend the card before I "under"grew the store.

Walked out of there with 3 pairs of office dress slacks, 2 office dress blouses and a cami for $89.
