It's all about perspective....
Ok--so I'm reading about century cards and size 10s, etc....and feeling a teeny bit whingy because I'm no where near those things. Also, I'm not meeting even the average on Dawn's weight loss challenge. I struggle with snacking in the afternoon while my daughter naps....and so on and so on....So, you get the vibe---I'm feeling a little woe-is-me.
BUT---it's all about perspective because I was just folding laundry (my life is truly glamorous) and I decided to try on my DH's pants!!!! Tee-hee!!! He's a little overweight (maybe 15 pounds), but pretty much normal sized. I've always been much bigger than him. They were tight but I could zip and snap them!
Then I realized, I'm only a few pounds heavier than him right now AND I neraly weigh what my driver's license says!!!! SOOOOOOOO--though I get a little worried about my progress I have to say overall things are looking DOWN (ifunowudimean
)
I gotta say: I am the mac-mama-mera-mera of weight loss.
No wonder all the fellas want me....
No wonder the paparazzi wants my pic....
No wonder Larry King is always calling for an interview.....
Who's your daddy?!? I mean, your mama?!?! Me
See, weight loss, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder!
