My Labwork Report
I just got a letter in the mail from my Interist. I had a blooddraw last week when I saw her with my 3 month labs. Here's what it said:
'"Your blood sugar is in good control." This blew my mind
Never in the 19 years that I have been diabetic has any doctoc said this.

Everything else looks really good and is within normal levels with the exception of my iron. It is still low. Although not too too bad. My iron level was 32 and normal starts at 35. So I have to stay on the iron supplements and see what my surgeon has to say when I see him in July.
My colesteral was 180 (was 245 pre-op) and my triglicerides were 115 which is realy good. Now the part I don't understand. My HDL and LDL are still not where they should be. My good stuff is not good enough it's only at 35 and should be at 40 or more and my bad stuff is at 122 and should be at 100 or less. So she said let's give it anoother 3 months of weight losee, excersise, and the new diet and see. If it doesn't improve at that point I will hve to go back on medication for colesterol
But all in all I was pretty pleased with the report
