Its story time in elsa's World

Dont get me wrong... this isnt a pitty party just a "What the..." I have gone from an all time hight of almost 260. Day of surgery I was 235, Now Im bouncing from 175-180. I was reading our friend renee's profile and was so excited when I read her update that her BMI is just overwheight. I was like wow we had about the same starting weight and are close now so I checked my bmi. then I kept changing my weight you know the what ifs.... I wont be considered overweight till im at 135? I'm scarred to see what the computer thinks is a healthy weight for me, I could loose 40 pounds and still be obese. I gues since I'm only 4ft 9 it makes thing different. mmm Just thought it was story time so I thought I'd share. obese Elsa

I understand... its tough, I have a long way to go... but really, you have been doing WONDERFUL. Its hard for me to not compare myself to others, but really, you are your own person and you are doing well. Keep up the good work.

Who cares what the bmi chart says? (I do really... ) IF you feel good at a certain weight then that is what counts. My goal is 125 pounds and I am 5'1". I will then be "normal" YOU ARE DOING GREAT BY THE WAY.... ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

Oh Elsa hunny~ That's why we can't compare ourselves to others. Our body make up is so different from one person to the next. Here...I'll make you feel a little better...if I was your weight I would be borderline normal weight!! (I'm 5'10") Dawn

See Elsa, At your weight, I would be at goal. But then again, I'm 5'9". So everyonehas their own burdens to deal with. You're doing great sweetiepie. Just keep doing it Regards and hugs, Ronna
