Hello yesterday I had about 3/4 c. of plain cheerios w/milk. About 30 minutes I was sweaty, dizzy and had to go to the bathroom. This happened about a month ago w/Honey chex and thought it was from the sugar, but cheerios only has 1 gram. I've given up on cereal but just wondering how you all tolerate it. Carly

Hi Carly, What kind of milk? Milk also has sugar in it, even skim milk. I can't do cereal anymore. It's just too many carbs for me and carbs turn to sugar in the system and play havoc with my blood sugar. Ronna

Ronna, I was using 2% milk as I was at my parents house. I usually use Lactaid and I'm okay with that. I have a feeling it was the milk also but I'm done experiementing with cereal. Carly

I eat the Special K Carb Control Cereal just about every morning. Its really good. But on vacation I tried some regular Raisin Bran and felt a little yucky afterwards. That is about the only cereals that I have tried because I've had a hard time finding any with protein and low sugars. If anyone has found anything other than the Special K, please let me know so I can have more variety. The Special K Carb variety has only 2 grams of sugar and 10 grams of protein. This is in a 3/4 c. serving, so I'm not sure if I eat quite that much yet. But this is the best thing I've found for breakfast so far. Debbie

I eat the Special K protein plus cereal w/ Carb Countdown milk. I've been doing fine with it. I just let it get a little soggy first then I eat it. April

I don't like to eat soggy cereal ... yuck for me! I actually keep the cereal in a small container and put my milk in the bowl and sprinkle a small amount of the cereal in at a time. Then I can slower and the cereal won't get soggy. I have done fine with the crunchiness. Debbie

My monthly friend is due to visit soon and with her comes the munchies. On Saturday night I was carb craving so bad I could DIE! Anyway, I had about 2/3 of a cup of Special K protein plus and felt AWFUL...I felt overfull, bloated, tired, and nauseous. I went to bed for the night. Dawn

Great new pic, you look fabulous!! On the recommendation of so many here I bought the Special K with protein and have had a it few times with no challenges. I dont drink milk due to the sugars. I mix a little it in with yougurt and eat it slowly, ensuring I super chew every bite. I tried Cheerios awhile ago, the same way, and had no problems. Hope it works out for you. Tiff
