the dreaded samich!!!!
Hi Elsa, I eat sandwiches ALL THE TIME. Its actually on my diet to eat some bread each day. For breakfast it is suggested to have half a slice of toast and one egg, of course there are other things as options too. One of the suggestions for lunch is half of a turkey and lettuce sandwich...of course the diet sheet says nothing about the low fat mayo i put on it lol anyways, here are the sandwiches I eat regularly:
ham, cheese and mustard
fat free turkey, cheese, lettuce. low fat mayo
bolgna, lettuce, mustard
red salmon, low fat mayo
i dont really enjoy peanut butter all that much so I never eat peanut butter sandwiches. I have never eaten cold cuts without bread and I am not about to try when my dietician doesnt say I have to!! I typically only eat half a sandwich, which is cool. I make one sandwich and save half for lunch the nex day!!!
FYI I have finally entered onederland!!!! as of last week!! I am now 197!! so a total loss of 93 pounds since surgery...43 away from my surgeons goal!!
I'm so jealous!!! Bread just doesn't sit well with me. I feel like I'm having labor pains after eating it. I tried taking just a bite of a sub roll yesterday and it hurt for an hour after. I love sandwiches!!! The one thing I miss since surgery is bread & rolls...oh well, maybe I'll try again in a few months. I'll just keep eating tortillas instead.

Gotta love the Nob Hill Pannini and other sandwiches--- I just eat part of it at a time-- I can get 3-4 meals from a sandwich!!!! I eat bread in mod (but I'm a slower loser than many, so......)
I love the meat and cheese and vegs--I just try to go light on the mayo and oil that they cook paninni's in-----I just ask them to hold it!!!
YUMMMMMM, sandwiches really do it for me-----!!!!
