Hi everybody!!! It is a strange feeling to be worried for a person that you don't know in person. This place has brought to me a complete new scene on what friendship, and relationship could be. I am honest worried for what is happening in the life of certain people who have been gernerous enoough to share part of their life, their thinking, their feeling about personal stuff.... I really am thankfull with all of you and specially with the ones encouraging me in tough times. Today I received this email: ____________________________________________________________________ Praise God! Everything went very well. Though the hospital nurse had told us that the surgery would be 5 hours long, it was only 2 hours. The doctor was very pleased and said that it went very well. He was able to remove the kidney without any complications. He said that he believes that the "cancer" was contained and that it has not spread any further. Although the doctor is sure that it is malignant we really will not have the final word about that until Thursday. In the meantime, Gary is recovering. He had a lot of pain this evening that they are controlling with pain medication. When I left him at 10:30 tonight, he had stood at the side of the bed for about 30 seconds and was very glad to get back in bed. Gary expressed how much he appreciated all of your prayers and support and I second that. Thank you so much for your continued prayers as he recovers. I'll keep you updated. Sandy _____________________________________________________________________ I am so happy for my friend Gary!!! Thanks a lot girls for your prayers and good wishes to my friend and his family. I will send him up all your beautiful comments. Alex

Alex, Gary is very fortunate to have a friend like you! I am so happy to hear that his surgery was successful and didn't take as long as anticipated. Thank goodness and hopefully he will be on the mend and feeling better soon. Karen S.
