Gary's update....

Hi gils and boys!!! I received this e-mail today. I don't know what to think. Looks good but not SO good. Please keep praying for Gary and Sandy his Wife.... Sorry if I am being annoyingI keeping you informed, but Gary is important to me, and I want to share my worries and hopes and pains and prayings with all of you -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone, This has been a very long week. Yesterday, we waited all day for the doctor to come to order the CAT scan and he never came. Very frustrating. They continued to give him fluids through his IV which just increased the "swelling" throughout his body. It looks like he has gained at least 50 pounds in his stomach and legs. It puts a lot of pressure on his internal organs and causes a lot of pain. His bowel is still not working. Gary just called me and told me that the doctor finally came in and said that they are not going to do the CAT scan. He told Gary that he thinks that everything is going slow because of the bariatric surgery and the trauma his body has gone through in the last year. So at this point, nothing is going to be done other than continuing to give him fluids and helping him control his pain. The pain is not from his surgery incisions but from the pressure of the fluid. Thankfully, his blood pressure is fine and he has no fever. Please continue to pray that his kidney and bowel will start working as they should and that he can be released from the build up of fluids. Also pray that he can continue to get stronger and find relief from the pain. Also, please pray for wisdom for the doctors and that they are not missing something that needs to be taken care of. I have only caught a little of what is going on. Is he in the states? If so, he has the right to insist on a second oppinion if there is any thought that everything isn't being done for him. But just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and hope it all works out fine. I know yours and their faith will get you thru this. Hugs and kisses.
