Scary Church Today!!!
Well, I guess the church itself wasn't scary, but what happened during it was. We had just heard the sermon and stood up for something, I don't remember what. My son (almost 15) doesn't sit down when we're supposed to. He's the only person left in a large church standing, and was kind of leaning on the pew in front of us. He is a very shy teenage boy in general, except around family and good friends. He never wants attention in a group. I said Ben, sit down - he acts like he didn't hear me. I said it again - by this time my sister's family and other's around where looking. I said "is something wrong w/ your back?" . . . he ignored me. Then I got scared. I didn't know what was wrong w/ him. I was looking around to my sister and brother in law and they were "what's going on?". He finally sat down. I kept asking if he was okay. He said he was dizzy. Then he said a few minutes later, I just blacked out. He never ate breakfast this morning and just drank a coke during Sunday School. I guess I'll take him to the dr. My dad, sister and me all have low blood sugar, so I'm assuming that is what is wrong, but I'll keep a watch over him. I told him he was going to have to eat some protein every morning.
Nothing like going to church and getting a scare! I'm also sure our dr's office will probably be closed until Wednesday, at which time we'll be in Houston. I'll just keep an eye on him. There's always emergency rooms available.
