6 month anniversary.......TODAY

Today is my 6th month anniversary......I have lost 83 pounds and had two wonderful WOW moments over the 'long' weekend...... Moment one - I got a bathtowel to wrap COMPLETELY around me - nothing 'hanging out' Moment two - I stepped on the scale.........189. No, that had to be wrong.......reset the scale and stepped back on........189 again. No, that still had to be wrong......moved the scale to another part of the floor...........189 again........OMG - I'm 189........and officially just 'overweight' now. Only 39 pounds left to my goal......... Rose

Congrats Rose, You are my surgery twin. I'm 6 months today too. I was 193.7 this am. That's 86.3 lbs down since surgery and approx. 125 lbs. since I began this journey. I have alot farther to go to goal than you do. You're probably much taller than I am. Robin

Hi Rose, I am from Canonsburg, close to pittsburgh. Congratulations on your 6 months and your weight loss. I have my 6 month coming up on the 20th. Isn't this surgery a true miracle? I am a stand still now and have been for about 1 month. This week I am going to eat nothing but protein to see if I can break this stall. keep up the wonderful job you are doing.

Congrats surgery twin! Isn't this trip just wild .I would never have thaought life could be this good a year ago.I have lodt a total of 1004lbs but bounce between 5lbs for the last month waiting for the plateau to break. Joy
