How much weigh lost
You know what, I am so glad you did this. I was feeling down about not losing enough weight because so many have lost 100 lbs. (I know, we shouldn't compare ourselves) which I am happy about for them but wondered why I haven't done so. I am 51 and have lost 78 lbs. I am not complaining at all and am greatful for losing this much but last week when I was PMSing, I felt like I wasn't losing enough as many seemed to be either getting close to goal or getting their Century Club card. We will get there soon so it's good to have a reality check about weightloss.

Thanks to all of you for responding. Wow, we really do lose at all different paces. I am realy frateful for what I have lost, but this is such a miracle for me that I slways get worried that the losing will just stop. I have uped my protein as of today and uped the treadmill. My daughter who had surgery on June 14th, is doing well. She has lost about 26 lbs. so far and is coping very well with her puree stage.
Thanks again to all of you, God Bless
My surgery was on January 16th, 2006 and I have lost 90 pounds as of today.
I am 43 years old....
I agree with some of the other people here, that the rate you lose can depend upon your beginning weight. IE: the higher your weight was to begin with, the faster it seems you lose at first.
This is not a race, not a competition.... whatever you've accomplished at losing is your own personal best!
