Walking a mile. . . or more

I went to a local park to walk today, and took my Shih Tzu with me as well as my son. My son told me last week that it was 1/3 of a mile each loop around the park on the walking trail. I planned on walking a mile, because it was 5:00 pm and really hot. As I was about halfway around the 3rd time, he announced that oh yeah, each loop is a half of a mile, not 1/3. I walked in the heat for 1 1/2 miles, and could have kept going. Next time I'll know for sure, but at least I got plenty of exercise. Karla 337/239/150
