what kind of digital camera do you have?

Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is enjoyable, there's nothing better than a Sunday afternoon mid summer. One of my stops today is the camera store, I've decided to shop out and get a better digital camera. Yes, I am a camera-holic and like many here, I just keep taking pictures of myself. I even figured out photo bucket and put some links in my profile to share a few recent shots - I have not yet figured out how to add the picture to the profile itself. So, what kind of camera do you have? Does the battery last long? Is it a good flash? Is the flash one of those annoying kind that blinds people? I have my eye on the Casio EX-S600 which is tiny, too. I have a Nikon Coolpix. The only thing I would like to upgrade to is better zoom than 3X optical zoom. It just doesn't zoom in close enough at times. Someday I'll upgrade. PS - I did book my Thursday night for Vegas - thanks so much for the help. Karla

Tiffany, My husband bought me this camera for Christmas last year and I love it!!!! It's lightweight and is very easy to use. I love the BIG screen on the back. I have to say that the battery that comes with this camera is rechargable (comes with a charger) and I get a LONG time out of this battery!!! For instance, at Christmas time I took 200+ pics and didn't have to charge the battery until the middle of January. hey tiff, i dont have a digital camera, so i can not reccomend one for you... but, i too am in the market for one and ran across this website: http://www.gottadeal.com/Deals/Category/digitalcameras it lists all the best current sales on digital cameras. seems like a nice resource if you are looking for a bargin. also, i know the site is updated often to keep up with the different sales, so you have to check it once a week to make certain you don't miss anything. hope this helps. I have a Canon Powershot A410.... I love it! Its small enough to fit in my pocket and go with me wherever.... Plus it takes good pics of moi!

I have a Pentax Optio. It is pretty easy to use. Even for me who is "technically impaired" It has a nice BIG display that even I can see, that was the most important thing to me besides price

I have a Kodak Easy Share C340. I have the dock printer & I just love it. It is so very easy to use. I bought extra rechargable batteries but they really last quite a while. I taught elementary school cumputers and I taught the school newspaper kids to use digital cameras. I also had a Sony that this one replaced. This camera is the best I have ever used and the easiest. I print out pictures that are as good as any lab. All of the pictures on my profile were taken on that camera. Marcia

Hi Tiff! I have a Sony Cybershot 6.0 and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I use rechargeable batteries and it is so easy to use... I am a techie when it comes to cellphones, I can answer whatever you need, but with digital cameras, I don't know much. This software and everything is so easy and I just LOVE it!! HTH!! ~amber~
