
I went to a buffet for the first time this noon. I actually ate a small meal. Shocked the s**t out of hubby. I came home and figured up cals and protein. Thought I did really good. Calories 336.64, Protein 21.86. Had a fried chicken leg, an once of ham, a few green beans, two bites spagetti salad, and about 1/4cup broccoli salad. It was all so wonderful. I was full, a little to full, but it didn't try to come back up. This isn't going to become a habit, but it is nice to know that I can go out to eat and not have people nagging me to eat. I enjoyed the experience. Not for the food, but for the quiet time with hubby in a nice atmosphere. 86 pounds ago it would have been purely for the food. It is a nice change. I guess I have learned something in the last five and a half months.
