Do you find yourself buying/wearing stuff you NEVER wore before? I am addicted to sunglasses! I have THREE pair! A Brown tortoiseshell one, a solid black one and blak one with cherry side arms... what the heck! I wear them all the time... NEVER pre-op... I guess I have a face now, so I can wear 'em I dunno lol What about you????

I am also into sleeveless shirts and shorter shorts. i like to show some skin and feel the sunshine on my body. I always wore make up but I am wearing a bit more than before. And the more cleavage the better....my new VS bras really help with that!!! And I do wear shoes with a heel, for the last 4 years its been flats only.

Let's see.... sleeveless shirts, a little more eye make-up, and clips in my hair. LOL Do those things count? Susan

I wish I could wear the sleeveless shirts that everyone else mentioned. I'm self-conscious about the flab on my arms! I guess the thing I'm wearing is more figure hugging clothes. At first I was self-conscious about it and kept pulling at the shirts and asking friends and Steve if it looked too tight. They all said it looked great and it was about time I started wearing clothes that fit rather than the loose clothes. LOL Debbie

Jaci! I didn't think about it as related to the weightloss, but I think you are right! And with me, it is sunglasses, as well... I have a whole slew of them now, and wear them all the time. Sometimes even on top of my head, to hold my hair back.... I NEVER did that before.... Sunglasses fit better, before, I had trouble finding ones that didn't leave marks on my temples from squishing my face, now that my face is thinner, I am more comfortable wearing them... and so I do! I have always worn sleeveless shirts, but I am a lot more lately, and tanktops... I look at my t-shirts and think... now that will be too hot... It is funny to realize that this is all weightloss related. good observation! it is nice to hear that we are not only changing our bodies, we are changing our lives! Cheers!

Girl, I just had gone to Fashion Bug and bought $88 worth of new tops and I love them. My friend who is a guy went with me and goes "you know 5 mths ago you wouldnt even look at those blouses, now you cant make up your mind to which one you like the best." It's the greatest feeling being able to buy clothes that are so much smaller...I now fit in 18's for blouses with room, so I am so happy. When you are super obese you are stuck with unflattering clothes and now with 120lbs off I feel more like a regular person and I love how guys now look into my eyes and say "hello" and they smile more often as well. I know my thesis is targeting these different situations, and believe me when I am done I will gladly share the information with you all. The only thing Ihave to watch out is that I dont buy too much stuff since I'll continue to lose the weight, so for now my little shopping spree will do until the next 40 or 50lbs. I also got highlights which all the clients and this cute guy at work who was the first to notice and gave me a smile and wink..said he liked it alot...WOOOOO!!!! I about died right there....lol Kelli
