Reporting Back As Promised

As promised, I've updated my profile with pictures from my vacation. Other than rain that Noah would have hidden from we really had a wonderful time. Just having some time to hang out with my "little" brother was a treat in and of itself. We ran around alot, did shopping (I even did some shopping for my secret pal). I was very proud of myself that I walked so much -- I really surprised myself. We went to see "The Devil Wears Prada" which was fantastic and one evening we went to a plan called "Smokey Joe's Cafe" which was a musical which had all music from the 50's and 60's. It was alot of fun Then on Friday we went to Kemah and spend the day there walking the boardwalk, looking at the shops and ate at the Aquarium (see my profile for pictures). I had the best seafood gumbo with big chunks of shrimp and lobster - YUM. But guys and girls - one of the highlights of my trip was meeting Karla and Valerie It was so nice to get a chance to talk to them in person after all these months of communicating on the board. It makes me even more excited for Vegas!!!! I want to meet and hug everyone! So what is everyone waiting for!!!!! Make your reservations! Even if you're not 100% sure yet make the reservation, you can always cancel without them charging your credit card as long as you do it 48 hours before checkin!!!!! SO DO IT I would also like to have an ILLINOIS get together is possible ASAP!!!!!! Tiffany, Anna D, Marsha ...... Can we meet in the middle somewhere? I loved seeing all your pictures (especially the one of the 3 beautiful ladies in front of a Mexican restaurant)! I know you really enjoyed your trip to see your brother. The Aquarium is a great restaurant, and so neat w/ the fish swimming around. We ate there a few years ago when it first opened. I want to go see "The Devil wears Prada". I'm sure I'll have to go to Houston. Most people in Polk County wouldn't know what the heck Prada is. I'm excited about having Vegas reservations. I got all 3 nights reserved now (Thurs, Fri, and Sat.) and am hoping to get cheaper airfare closer to time. My husband may be working close enough for him to drive and meet me.
