I A Little Nervous

I got a call from Dr. Andy, my Neurologist. I see him due to having diabetic neuropathy. I have no feeling in my feet or legs due to nerve damage caused by complications from diabetes. Anyway I have been having problems with balance and getting dizzy very often. He arranged for me to have this test right before I left for vacation and he called with the results. I guess they found something that he doesn't like, although he said don't be concerned - yeah right He wants me to have a brain MRI. The problem is I had cataract surgery last year and have an eye implant in my right eye and don't know if I can have MRI's anymore. I called the MRI place and talked to a tech early this morning. I gave her all the info on card I carry in my wallet about the implant and she was going to find out and call me back. Have you heard from her? I haven't heard from her yet!!!! I hate waiting:made: I'm suppose to see Dr. Andy on the 19th for a follow up and need to know what to do and the &%&^$&%&*^*^ didn't call me back Even a call telling me she needed more info would have been better than nothing This really sucks....I just hope I can sleep tonight. Ronna~ Whenever you need to vent, vent away dear...will will be an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and a pair of arms to hug you. I'm sure everything is fine. Just sleep well in knowing that you have a doctor that is precautious and checks everything. Dawn

Ronna, I would call her back first thing in the morning. If she doesn't have an answer call the surgeon that did your cataract surgery. Someone must know the answer. Hopefully, everything will be ok, but I know what you mean about waiting for answers...it's sooo frustrating. Good luck & keep us posted on whatever they decide to do for you. Kathy

Hopefully they'll call you in the morning. If not, I would call right back first thing. Maybe you'll still get a good night's sleep. I worry a lot too, and don't like waiting. I definitely understand, especially when it comes to health. Karla
