Prayers Needed

My roommate and a great friend of mine received some really bad news today, his brother who has not been feeling great the past month was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer We are not sure what type of cancer he has but from the symptoms that was given sounds like Leukemia...but it's only a guess. The brother is now in hospital, I assume they are going to begin some extreme treatment on him to slow down the cancer as much as possible...so I am asking if you all can just say a little prayer for Terry, he's a nice guy and is only 52yrs old in fact he was just about to retire from his work and start to enjoy life...we all pray that will come true for him but we know there needs to be some spiritual help as well. I'm so sorry to hear that your roommate's brother has been diagnosed with cancer at such a young age. I will add him and your roommate to my prayer list. I'm sure it will be a stressful time. Hang in there. Sending you an to watch over all of you. hugs

Thanks for the prayers, we found out this morning that it has spread into 3 major organs: lungs, kidneys and liver. My friend is heading to the hospital today to see what they are going to do about treatment or if treatment is even an option at this stage. I know cancer is pretty silent but never knew how silent, he was only feeling tired this past couple of months and chucked it off as just working too many hours and now it's spread that quickly. I know that this is a wake up call for me not to sluff things off as being tired from work but to take the initiative to get things checked up. I am scheduling for myself a blood panel test just to make sure I am okay with things and get my pap smear as well. It's so scarey! Anywho, thanks for the prayers, I'll update later on today when my friend comes home. Kelli
