1~ What is your goal weight and is it different than your Dr's goal for you? My goal is 135 (I am 5-5). If I stalled at 145, I would be happy.
I never asked my Dr. what his goal was.
2~At 6 months post op, Are you happy with what you see in the mirror?
I am thrilled. I am in a size 10. I looked pretty scary naked, but am planning on plastic surgery. I figure at 50 yrs old, there is no way I will be bouncing back so good.
I am not working out like I need to be, my bad.
3~Do you have any weekend plans?
cooking for a singles dinner on Saturday night at church
Volunteering at the hospital on Sunday.
God bless your journey, J.Marie
1~ What is your goal weight and is it different than your Dr's goal for you? I never asked the doc what my goal weight should be. I am thinking 160.

Hi Kay! Sorry I am a day late, but I am catching up so here are my answers!
1~ What is your goal weight and is it different than your Dr's goal for you?
my personal goal weight is 135 simply because that was the last weight I remember being and feeling good about myself, and that was 13 years ago. My doctor hasn't actually "set" a goal weight, but says we are expected to lose 60-80% of our excess weight, which puts me between 192.4-151.2 pounds. I have already lost 59% and it has not been a full 6 months for me yet!
2~At 6 months post op, Are you happy with what you see in the mirror?
I am happy most days, but I still want more! I want to be out of plus size clothes, and I want to weigh less than my sisters, I still have another 20 pounds to go to be the smallest of four girls.
3~Do you have any weekend plans?
this weekend, no. However, I never sit around on the weekends anymore, I am far too antsy
Kay have a wonderful anniversary, sounds so nice!
