Hi everyone, I don't post that often, but I read all the time on here. Please don't flame , but I really need to know how some people remember to take their vit's everyday. I know how important it is and yet I forget all the time. Do any of you have an easy way to remember?? I am really frustrated that I forget and seem to have this mental block with taking them...Please and suggestions would be great..Thanks!!

Shannon, I have mine on the kitchen counter. When I prepare my lunch, gather my protein drink and pour my kool-aid, I take my vitamins then. When I get home from work and pour more kool-aid, I take them again. Usually before I go to bed, I take my last dose of calcium for the day. Your very right. The vitamins and supplements are VERY important! Beth

Hi Shannon I have to take 4 a day. I take 2 in the morning after I brush my teeth and 2 at bedtime after I brush my teeth. So I keep them on the counter in the bathroom. It's just become a routine Regards and hugs, Ronna

You are not the only one!!! Since I'm at work all day, I'm considering adding reminders on my Outlook calendar. I can't wait to read people's suggestions. Jen

I take a vit first thing in the morning with my other daily pills (birth control, actigall, etc). Then I have a daily alarm on my cell phone (which is glued to me) for an evening vitamin. I set it to just occur daily and my phone rings when i should take it... helps me remember. I also have a baggie of vitamins in my purse, just incase I am out and about when the phone reminder goes off.

Wow..I never thought about my cell phone alarm...I'll try that and see how that goes. My other problem is remembering while I'mout and not having anything with me to take. I think I'll stash some in my purse so I always have them with me. Thanks for the suggestions...wish me and my brain luck..lol!!

Hey Shannon! I forget all the time and hate it! I bought a cute case for them at GNC and carry them with me in my purse. I just started this week... but it seems to be working so far... I hear the little rattle and go oh crap! I gotta take those. Now I gotta figure out about the calcium and I'm good to go! LOL

I keep all my vitamins in my kitchen and every morning the first thing I do it grab them and plop in front of the computer. You just need to make a routein and take them at the same time. Try putting them next to your toothpaste....you don't forget to brush your teeth every day; so maybe if they were next to the toothpaste you would see the bottles everyday and remember. Dawn

I'm pretty good about my vitamins during the week. I have a reminder pop up on Outlook that reminds me to take them at work. I suck at remembering them on the weekends though. I'm curious to read other's suggestions!! Susan

Hi Shannon, Like the others I've put myself into a routine. I have them all organized in a small basket on my counter and its the first thing I take in the AM with my meds. I have a small vitamin case that I carry with me so I have a supply at all times. When I am home I put my pills into a little glass bowl and seeing them reminds me....when I take one dose, I put the next dose in the bowl so its out and visable. Those little custard cups are the perfect size. I also carry calcium caltrate as a pill and a chewable, sometimes its not possible to take them when you remember if you've just eaten and that's when its nice to have the chewable available. HTH and glad to see you posting! Welcome and no flaming, we dont do that here!! Hugs, Tiffany
