Remembering Vitamins.....
OH Shannon, you must be my twin when it comes to taking my supplements. I, too, am so bad about it and it frustrates the hell out of me, too!! I have them on my kitchen sink so I see them all the time, I just don't ever get around to taking them. I do pretty well with my multi-vitamin & weekly B-12. It's the Iron and Calcium I have a hard time with. I'm supposed to take 3 Calcium pills/day and you can't take them together since your body can't absorb more than 500mg at a time and you can't take them at the same time as the Iron because iron is a binder and will make the calcium obsolete! Oy, it's so complicated. I was thinking about one of those pill caddies like Jaci mentioned. At least I would have them with me when I'm out and it might be more incentive to take them. I know I'm going to get a major lecture when I go for my 6 month check-up!
Thanks for the post. I think I better go take a calcium right now!!

Since I have to get in a few other meds around my vitamins I really have to spread mine out through the day. I found these neat little pouches - kinda like teeny Ziploc bags - near the pharmacy. Every Saturday I fill up my pouches for the week with all of my meds & vitamins and put the pouches in a sandwich size Ziploc. That way I have my pouch all ready to go when I head out the door in the morning. When I get to work I dump the pouch into a shallow cup on my desk so I can pop them throughout the day.
It works for me!
