I'm wasting away...
I don't know what has happened, ok well that's a lie, but anyway I have lost over 10 pounds in under two weeks. Unfortunately, it isn't the healthy way. I have been stressed (who isn't) and have NOT been exercising, NOT drinking my fluids as I should, NOT getting my protein in, and basically having around 200-300 calories a day. YEP FLAME. I simply am not hungry, no appetite at all and haven't been taking the time I need to do these things. Now last night I forced myself to eat a hot dog around 11;00pm, first meal of the day and then drank a protein shake because I was not feeling so good. That all said, I can I be unhappy about it when 10 pounds is gone like that???? I have to get healthy again, I know that, to maintain the loss once I hit my goal....NEED motivation, not on loss now, but on healthy habits. GEEZE, I either complain about NOT losing, or this....just smack me...
Marsha - I know you're happy because you lost 10 more pounds, but make sure you get 60 g protein or more per day so you'll stay healthy. People don't understand that you may be okay now from it, but not having damages your organs, just like an anorexic person. Better to lose the weight a little more slowly than hurt your health.
Hang in there. Eat a little more every day until you get back to the healthy amount you should eat. Make sure you exercise some several days a week. You don't have to exercise hours a day or 7 days a week. Just do some. That will take some of your stress away. You can do it. Protein, Water, Exercise...

Stress or not your # 1 job is to take care of YOU. That means getting your fluids, protein, vitamins and activity. If your child's health depended on these things you would see to it that he/she got them every day. You are important too!
You may get away with slacking off for a little while but it will catch up with you and then you'll feel like total CR@P!
Hugs!
Susan
I wish I could give you words of wisdom but I do the same thing as you. I have zero appetite and would rather keep myself busy than be concerned with food. Before I know it it is 11pm and I haven't had a bite.
Just try to nip it in the butt before it becomes something you aren't able to turn around.

No flames from me... but I am genuially concerned about you. I too had a stretch where I didnt eat well... and I paid for it with my health.
You had this surgery to improve your health. My ultimate goal is to have a healthy relationship with food/eating and as a result of that new lifestlye, I will have lost weight. Not the other way around.
At this point, I would suggest getting a nutritionist if you don't already have one. They will be able to teach you great things.
Everyone struggles with this, you are not alone, and if you ever need help or support, please post. Many of us know what it is like... we can support eachother, give ideas and listen.
Hope you take care of yourself! You deserve to be happy and healthy!
Take Care

I know you're happy about the 10 puonds, but getting yourself sick is not the answer. You've got to take care of yourself sweetiepie --- we need you. If nothing else keep a couple of protein bars in your purse for a quick meal
as well as a bottle of water.
The heatwave ha**** Illinois, it's important that you keep hydrated. I don't want you fainting away somewhere.
Please take the time to take care of YOU! Protein, water and excersise when you can.
Sending hugs,
Ronna

Hey Marsha-- you know---real chicken breast gets stuck with me, but for some reason the frozen precooked foster farms chicken breast strips (100 cals per serving, 19 gr. pro) that you just micro go down very well (perhaps they are moister)...anyhow never mind---- hope you are eating, keep me posted-----
