A monday Poll
I am weighing in at 185 (from an ultimate high of 335, 266 at surgery). My surgeon didn't set a goal for me, but my personal goal is 140. If I can maintain 140, then I'm looking for plastic surgery to take 10-15 pounds off on top of that (I've got MAJOR skin issues -- huge apron, not just a pooch) and I'm looking for that to happen next spring/summer.
Of course, I'l have to start researching how much weight the breast implants will add - LOL -- might have to readjust my final goal.

Hi Elsa
Love the new pic by the way.
I am confused about goal weight. When I started all the info said my goal was 190 which puts me 39 pounds from goal. But each time I go to the doctor the goal gets lower
I asked him today, :"What is my goal weight?" He said, "We'll talk about it in 3 months." So offically I don't have one. But I think I would like to be around 170 which means I have 59 pounds to go
Sending hugs,
Ronna

Great question! My doctor also does not give out goal weights. The only thing he discusses is the "official" stats on bariatric guidelines for successful weight loss surgery patients. I set pre-op goals of 150 as my "really happy" goal, 140 as my "ecstatic" goal and 130 as my "OMG, I can't believe how little I weigh" goal. I'm basically to the first goal now (haven't weighed yet today, but it's close). I've always been shooting for the 140 goal (which is what's in my signature line) but I would like to get to around 135 to be safe and also just to say I'm in the "30's". I reached a normal BMI about a month ago and my loss has really slowwwwwwwwed down this month, so it may take me a few months more to reach that 135.
Thanks for sharing!

My doctor didn't set a goal either. The lowest that I have ever been in my adult life was 160, so that is what I set my goal at. When I get there, I may re-evaluate it and try for more, as I am only 5'3". My starting weight was 302, and I am now at 215, which puts me 55 pounds away from my goal!!!
Hugs,
Dianne
