It may be the sagging skin on front; as Ronna said, it may be your insurance ticket for plastic surgery. Dr. Lomonaco in Houston talked to my support group and said go to your PCP when having problems, get a prescription filled (even if you don't take it), that when insurance has paper documentation and has to pay, they'll come thru for plastic surgery better. He's one of the better plastic surgeons in Houston for WLS and had a fantastic personality. At our next group a different one, Dr. Wainwright is talking who is also supposed to be good. I'll see what he says. Karla

Thanks for the response, Karla. I've been meaning to tell you everytime I see one of your posts come up that my parents live in Onalaska and we go up every other month or so to see them. I'd love to be able to meet you at some point. I spoke with my insurance company the same time I was going thru the process of getting the wls scheduled about the possibility of plastics at some point and what was needed to deem it necessary. They essentially told me the same thing -- document EVERYTHING, no matter how small it might seem. And something they also added, that I didn't see in your response, was that when the time comes, don't refer to it as "plastic" surgery, rather have the surgeon put it through as "reconstructive" surgery due to massive weight loss and there's a slightly better chance that it won't be kicked out as elective.
