If you are in a humid area this Summer, you have to try this new product!!!!! I bought this new stuff by John Freida called "DownPlay" - it's a 'volume reducer'. Instead of a frizzy mess, my curls went into ringlets this morning, which is MORE manageable, plus it's not all poofy!!! It's not as thick as a "serum", but a little thicker then water. Smells nice too. I paid around $4 for it at Walmart. I've used this stuff styling my hair straight and styling it curly and it really does work!!! Below is a before/after pic of my hair using this stuff. I think my hair turned out very cute this morning. Infact, I had to make it my new profile pic! Also is a screen capture of the product from www.johnfreida.com. I'll have to try this, Susan. I have naturally curly hair and in the Houston humidity, it's always a toss-up as to what it'll look like. Doesn't matter if I wear it natural or straighten it out, it usually frizzes.

Wow, Susan what a difference. I'll have to get some of that. Your hair looks great. I don't have curly hair, but it's not straight either. I just bought a Chi ceramic flat iron a few weeks ago, so I'll have to try it using the flat iron and product. My hairstylist, who is also a friend, told me yesterday that she got something new at a hair show that will keep your color/highlighting fresh and make your hair shiny. She's going to do it for me in a few weeks right before my nephew's wedding when I get nails and a pedicure. I've got to go finish scrapping the wedding photo album today. I better get rolling. Only 14 more double page layouts & I'll be finished. Happy Hair and scrapping, Karla 337/232/150
