Thursday's Fair Recap
I don't have any pics to post since I'm house sitting, so you'll have to wait for them tonight
The rabbit show rocked!!! My 4Hers kicked major booty... they showed in 5 different classes and came home with 1st in them all! Then one went on to win BEST IN SHOW!!!!! Whooopppeeee!!! They did so well, I'm so excited for their future!
People kept coming up to me lol. I never thought I would hear the words stunning, gorgeous, hot used to describe me, lol. I do admit I got up extra early to make sure I looked cute, lol, butI wasn't trying to phish for compliments lol! But it was really fun and I got to see the judges I have seen in like forever and I totally missed them.
After the show, I had an appointment with my piano accompanist to go over our program for church on Sunday- I guess I'm a guess performer at her church lol. I'm playing a tuba solo as an opener and then switching to flute for the rest. We even recorded my playing so I could hear it. I have always been afraid my playing was a bit tinny or "not as good" as it should be (I've been playing since 5th grade). Earleen (my accompanist) has nothigng but praise for me, which I like, but would love some critique some time lol.... so with the recording I was able to hear myself and omg.... I was so happy! It didn't sound small at all, my flute sounds broad and pretty and full of passion, oh yeah baby.... I'm so excited lol.
THEN I went back to the fair.... there were two sale tonight- dairy heifer and rabbit. My kids did well at the sale too... but my little guy started crying on the block... he's been super emotional lately
. After the sales, I got Petunia a license pate frame.... it says......
Petunia
The Super Cruiser
She's gonna look so cute!
I'm off to the fair again today and then working at LB tonight. Tomorrow is the big day and I'm etting all excited again lol!! Anyone know how to draw flames? I need to draw flames on the lamb for the livestock auction on Saturday.
