I have a date....a blind one that is!!

Hey Ya'll We have a wls support group with some of the ladies on the SC board that meet every 1-2 weeks. Great group of ladies and most of them are married. One of their husbands work with this guy who is about my age and tried dating clubs, online, etc...with no luck. She immediately thought of me when her husband was telling her about him. She tells me that he is a very nice guy, GREAT job, house, etc. So, she is going to cook dinner have have both of us over on Thursday night. I'm a little nervous (haven't really had a date in about 5 years ), but so excited. I'll let you know how it all goes!! Hugs, Dianne

Dianne, If it makes you feel any better.....I was set up on one with my hubby, and I didnt even want to go but I relented after 3 1/2 months of bugging. Anyways I tried to not like him but within 1 week I knoew we were gonna end up together. So here we are almost 9 years and 3 kids later, it workd for us, it could for you too Good luck, and just be your sweet self and that'll hook him! Steph

Oh thank you Steph!! The girl fixing us up is so bubbly and excited about it. So with her being there, I don't even think there will be any kind of awkward moments that can happen when you first meet somebody. I've been on my own for so long...divorced for 14 years and my son is now 18.....so I guess it's time!!! Hugs, Dianne
