Hair Loss...When Does it Stop?
I have been told it lasts for a few months, from 3 months to 8 months out. I started at 3 months and it is slowing down for me. Still have some, a little more than before, but it isn't like it was. So for me it started slowing down after 3 months.
A few tips, as nothing will stop it from falling out. Coloring your hair makes your hair thicker, more body and helps with the thinning look. A good hair style, you don't have to go short, but someone who knows what they are doing can do a cut that will also hide the loss. My best friend wore bandanas. But most of all, it is a small price to pay for the weight loss, look how good you look now, no one is looking at your hair.
Funny thing, I thought about this before, no matter how heavy I got, I always thought I had great hair. So I obsesed on it. I had it in my head that my looks were my hair, I guess because my hair never got fat. Now I realize that it is nice to have nice hair, but it is only a small part of my looks now. Just something I thought about the other day. Yes, the thin hair bothered me for awhile, but it never got bad enough for most people to notice, I got a good hair cut early on and collor it, all have helped. But it does slow down and stop, and most say they have never heard of anyone going bald.
