I am not sure how this works ..... can some one fill me in. Pre WLS I wore a 44B. Of course I have been needing new bras for sometime. I found one that fit perfectly last night. ......... 36D - what? huh? how? My boobies are way littler than before so how did my cup size go UP? All the lose skin? Anyone else see this happen? God Bless, Jen

Bra sizes are weird, I don't even know how to explain it but when I went to a smaller size the lady at the Victoria Secret told me to buy a 34F instead of a 36C. Way to go on the big change in the bra size, you have lost a whole bunch of inches around! Dana

Jen I was fitted for a bra at victoria secrets and they told me you could go between two sizes. For example, they measured me at 38D but told me I could buy a 40 C....Doesn't make sense to me but I just buy what fits. ~~Hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

Hi Jen The bigger your band size, the bigger the cup will be. I found a great way to find out what size you SHOULD be wearing: Measure right below your bust and add 3 inches - that gives you your band size Now measure across the largest part of your bust and subtract the number from your band number. Example: If your band number was 40 and your bust measures 42 you would be a 40B. For one inch more you are an A Cup For 2 you are a B Cup for 3 your are a C Cup and on and on and on.......... Hope that help

I did the measurement. Under = 35' so my band size = 38 W/ boobs = 42" so my cup size is D Pretty close to what I bought. I think if I bought a 38 it would "feel" too big. Thanks for the info! God Bless! Jen

I dont get it either....I was a 48 dd and now I am wearing a 38-40 c and I still have room in the cup. I wish there was a standard for these things on how they are made!! I might have to check out Victoria's Secret!! Steph

When I was fitted for my last bra, the lady told me most people buy too big around, but not big enough cup size. She gave me a way smaller around bra, and bigger cup and it fit great. I thought I would try to buy cheap bras and tried about 10 on at a store and none fit. I guess I'll have to go back to the better one. Karla

Karla, OH MY, since I quit working, I could never spend than much on a bra. I am such a bargain shopper these days, I save where ever possible. I just bought the new foster kids some clothes, mostly around the house and play clothes but there were some jammies and nice outfits and dresses. I only spent 35.00 and got 120 pieces of clothes. So you see that 70 on 1 bra for me could do so much for the kids. I did splurge last week and bought myself a new outfit (size 14 - woo hoo) and spent 20.00. I used to spend, spend, spend on myself. I remember one birthday, I went to foley red apple sale and spent $800.00 on myself in about an hour. I treated my girlfriend and I to the spa at Moody gardens for a full day of pammperng that was some big bucks too. Oh well, those days are gone.... until I win the lottery God Bless! Jen
