Follow up to my 6-Month Visit & PS Appt.
Okay, I posted lst week about my 6 month visit with my surgeon, but didn't post my weight or measurements (I think -- I've slept since then and am too lazy to wade back thru the posts).
My weight was 180 and when I finally got around to taking my measurements (which I usually do monthly), I have lost a total of 76.75 inches since surgery in January. I just wish that I had taken measurements at my high weight of 335 so I could get perspective. I couldn't get the numbers pasted in right, so if anyone is interested in the actual inches lost from each area, I've posted it on my profile.
Also, I made a consult with a plastic surgeon for August 14th. I've got about 40 more pounds to lose (want to be somewhere around 140) and then I'll go in for my lower body lift and breast lift/augmentation. I'm fortunate enough to be here in Houston where Dr. Lomonaco is, and that's who my surgeon recommended, so I'll be seeing him for a preliminary visit. I'm looking to have the reconstructions done in the spring of next year and Dr. Lomonaco said it's never too early to have a consult and begin a game plan.

you can find out most everything at their site. http://www.turbokick.com/ It is quite intense...60 min class at 150+ steps per min. 1000+ calories burned per class. It is sooooo fun though.

6 months certainly makes a HUGE difference, you're right. I only have 40 more pounds until my goal, but knew going into this that my skin issues were more than just a "poochy little tummy" if that makes sense. By the time I hit my goal, I will have lost nearly 200 pounds, so plastics isn't a cosmetic thing for me, it's a necessity to get rid of my "apron".
