Well today is my 7th month anniversary I can hardly believe how far I've come in more than just weight loss. I looked back at my profile where I had put a list of things that I wanted to be able to do post op and you know, I can do 5 out of 6 I remember not so long ago, I felt like I was sitting in a chair all day just waiting to die Now I have a future and look forward to it. I've even started to think about going back to work in the not too distant future and I haven't worked in over 3 years. I have one more big hurdle to cross before I can do that. I'm hoping that next month I will be sceduled for surgery again. This time it will be to remove a cataract in my left eye. I had the right eye done in 2005 and went from being legally blind in that eye to being able to see 20/30. It was like a miricle to me. I'm hoping for a good result from this surgery as well I want to thank you all for helping through this journey. I can't express how much it has helped just to know you are out there and know what I'm going through, cause you're going through alot of the same thkngs. I am so proud of everyone I am amazed and delighted everyday just by reading your posts and updated profile. I can't wait to meet you in Vegas. It's must alittle more than 5 more than 5 months away - I can't wait So once again, thank you my friends. I love you all to pieced Sending warm regards and many hugs, Ronna

Ronna, What a wonderful journey it has been.... and it has only just begun! It is wonderful to be surrounded by so many great people who understand where you've come from and are with you on the path to where you are going. You are in my prayers... with your health and with your eyes... I am praying that you will get the surgery date you are hoping for and that the surgery goes well and that your results are once again a miracle. I, too, can't wait to meet you in Vegas. 5 months seems like forever away... but it will be here before we know it. I know we will have a great time... and we will all look HOT! Much love and hugs, Ronna... Congratulations on how far you've come and Best wishes for the road ahead!!! MUAH! Angela

Ronna, we are surgery sisters! I, too, had mine on 1/3/06. It's just amazing that the world has opened up to you again. I can't imagine you (a person with so much verve and enthusiasm) 'waiting in a chair to die'--! What a major life change you've made in such a short time. Cathy
