ISP & Email Change

Hi everyone. Please change my email back to [email protected] I'm going back to AOL.... but only because they are offering it for FREE!!!!! That's right --- FREE! Sounds too good to be true - I know. Go to http://daol.aol.com/newaol for more information. I called AOL last night and told them I wanted to reactivate my old screen name using their "Free AOL Plan", and they had no problem with it. This is not like www.aol.com or www.aim.com.... this is using the actual AOL software that you install onto your PC. This is only for customers that have their own DSL or Cable connection through another provider (such as Comcast Cable or Verizon DSL). The only catch I found is that if you have to access your account with Dial-Up on this plan, you will be charged. Also, with this plan you do not get Live Help on AOL -- you'd have to call their 800#. Personally, I like AOL much better for Leanna. The Parental Controls through AOL really help me monitor what it is she is doing online. Thanks, Susan

Susan, I have a cable provider and I pay aol 14.95 a month for their services. How is it free if you have to pay to connect? Wouldn't that add up? ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

If you already have an alternative way to connect to the internet, either by dial-up or broadband, you can move to the free AOL plan and continue to access your AOL e-mail, software, and security features. To change your current AOL plan, simply call Member Services at 1-800-984-6207 It will be totally free. You would just keep paying your cable provider. It would be like using yahoo for email.
