Exercise confessions?
Ok here goes.....I am being honest when I say I have not walked since the middle of June. Could be because I was so busy with graduation/hot summer ect. No excuses. Yesterday I read Lori's post and then immediately went and walked 1 and 1/2 miles and came home and did arm curls and forward arm stretches and to the side with 5 pound weights.........and then did the ablounger for 30 sit ups. I do NOT like to exercise....(except walking) so what is the normal reps I should be doing and what is the best forms of exercise for arms thighs, butts and stomach. Those are the areas I need to work on. I also went and bough an exercise ball with arm stretchers on it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
~~hugs and well wishes~~

Ok, this is a good guild line. When doing weights, use enough weights that you can do 8 to 10 reps and then need to stop. If you do less, it is too much weight and more than you are not doing any good.
Go online and find the free pod casts that trainers put out. They list them by the type of equipment or no equipment you have. I found a whole set for those bungy cord things that I use on the road. They talk you thru how to use them and give you exercises to do along with them. Do a google search for trainer pod cast, then add free downloads to narrow the search.
