Pickles and Red Onions
Kay,
I haven't found anything that I like now that I didn't before, but I've found that I LOVE some things that I used to only.lke or tolerate before. One thing is steak--before surgery I could take it or leave it...now I loveeeeee it. The same with cottage cheese--I would eat it before surgery ok, but it's a favorite now. Crab legs too...I crave them.
I keep trying to make myself like shrimp because it's so good for you, but I haven't been able to do that yet. Everytime hubby has some I always make sure to take a bite, but it just tastes like rubber bands to me. (sorry for that graphic).

Hi Kay,
Good question. I have found my tastes changing. I ate a lot of veggies before surgery, now I have little interest in them. Alternatively, I love fruit and eat it daily, I never chose it before.
I love spices on my food. Except salt which is evil. So no pickles for me. Vinegar makes me burp, too. But I love red onions.
And cheese. I used to be fine with no cheese in my diet. Now I carefully monitor it because I could eat it all the time.
Except cottage cheese, I loved it pre and immediately post op. Now I dont care if I never have it again.
Anything fried turns my stomach.
Glad to hear you're not preggers.
Tiffany
