My summer's almost over-resumes are going out

Hi Guys: Some of you know that I quit my (part-time) receptionist job at the veterinary clinic after I had my wls. I wanted to enjoy the summer & work at getting healthy. (I was totally burned out from the euthanasia aspect also). Well,,,,yesterday I heard of a lead in a law office for a receptionist/administrative assistant. I worked all day yesterday getting my resume updated. I'm applying for full time positions now. We need a new roof on the house & I want to start saving for plastic surgery, so it's a necessary evil for me. (the pension just isn't stretching far enough for fun stuff). I also sent out a resume to a new Doctor's office in town. The Dr. hasn't even arrived yet, so I'm not sure what he would be like to work for. Here's hoping something turns up for me...I really want these batwings removed!!! Kathy

Sounds fun... though it is scary to put yourself out there, and to get ready with resumes and all... I am sure it will all be worth it! I am sure you will find a great fit and happiness! Good luck!

Thanks M.M. It makes it more difficult because I'm 52 years old. Hopefully they will see wisdom & experience over young and perky. I didn't have any problems getting hired at the vet clinic & I was 70 lbs heavier, so I'm hoping things will work out ok. Kathy
