The Walk from Obesity is fast approaching. Want to be a team and do it together????? The cost is $25.00 per walker. Walk Date: September 30, 2006 Walk Location: Houston, Texas Where: Quillian Memorial Center, First United Methodist Church, at 10570 Westpark Drive @ Sam Houston Tollway (map). When: Saturday, September 30, 2006, from 9:00 am until noon Length of Walk: 1/4 mile to 3 miles (each walker sets his/her own goal and pace!) Who's Invited: Everyone! Love your word - you can just say for me you East Texas Hick! I think I might like to do that. I'll have to check the date and get back to you. I don't think I have anything that weekend. Maybe I can talk my cousin from Alvin that had surgery into walking w/ us. We definitely have to go for the 3 miles. Veronica - you gotta be with us on this one! Sounds like fun. Karla

That sounds good. I don't have the girls that weekend, so I can participate. I'll have to wait until the next payday to register, though, since I'm still in the process of going bankrupt getting 3 kids ready for school. Uh, Jen, I have a horribly forgetful mind -- are you going to post a reminder closer to the date? LOL -- If it weren't for my Franklin daybook and my husband, I'd forget where I needed to be and what I was supposed to do when I got there. Lisa
